Merlot

Our Merlot pays homage to the rich settler history preserved by the old town museum. It is soft and juicy with attractive plum and black cherry aromas intertwined with herbal tea, liquorice and gentle oak spice.

Pinotage

Built in 1825, the scenic Franschhoek mountain pass boasts the oldest stone bridge still in use in South Africa. Pinotage is another home-grown marvel, and this fruit-driven example offers generous flavours of black cherries, clove and raspberry jam.

Shiraz

A wine with depth and interest reminiscent of the Sir Herbert Baker-named original station building. Brimming with exuberant mulberry and plum flavours, it has soft ripe tannins that provide a well-structured and balanced juicy finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon

A wine that symbolises longevity, like the legacy of the original Huguenot families which has endured long after they were buried in the town’s original churchyard. Blackcurrants and violets captivate on entry, followed by concentrated dark berry flavours and spicy tobacco oak.
