Join Franschhoek Cellar for the 18th SA Cheese Festival from 26-28 April at Sandringham Estate between Cape Town and Stellenbosch, where we will be showcasing some of our most popular wines, adding to the phenomenal taste experience that has seen this event voted as the Cape Winelands Festival of the Year.

At this much anticipated family-friendly festival, you can taste and shop the country’s finest cheeses to heart’s content, together with a selection of food and wine that are natural complements to them. There will also be food, wine and beer demonstrations galore, fresh farm produce, live music, a wide variety of popular food stalls, and hours of fun and safe entertainment for kids.

This year’s event will feature a host of new visitor attractions as well. Like The Italian Experience, which will highlight Italian hospitality and gastronomy, from Mozzarella and olives to Provolone, Prosciutto di Parma, pasta, pesto and more, while the Tasting Room will host food personalities demonstrating delicious combinations of cheese with wine, beer and every new trend. Cape Made: Taste the Alternatives is a fresh-from-the-farm collection of alternative products such as olives, honey and rooibos to pick and choose from…with bargains directly from producers.
