Experience Franschhoek Cellar's local flavour and flair at the Bastille Festival
On 14 and 15 July 2018, wine lovers everywhere will be donning their best red, white and blue attire and flocking to the historic Huguenot Monument in Franschhoek for the annual Bastille Festival. This year marks the 25th anniversary of this colourful celebration of Franschhoek's French heritage, and the event has become one of the most anticipated on the Cape's wine and social calendar.
Franschhoek Cellar, together with sister brand Bellingham, will be showcasing some of their most popular wines to taste and purchase over Bastille Festival Weekend in the Food & Wine Marquee at the Huguenot Monument. Complementing the superb wine offering will be delectable fare from the restaurant at Franschhoek Cellar, one of the valley's favourite eateries. Visitors will be able to feast on dishes like pulled pork, spiced popcorn or herbed calamari while enjoying a glass of fine wine and soaking up the joie de vivre atmosphere and memorable activities of the Bastille Festival.
Tickets to the Food & Wine Marquee are R350 for a Saturday pass and R280 for a Sunday pass. This includes entry, a complimentary tasting glass, a booklet of five wine tasting coupons and an R20 voucher which is redeemable on the day. Additional coupons can be purchased on the day.
